Tommy February6's Brand New Album and New Teasers

J-pop fans mark their calendar for the scheduled release of the comeback of Tommy February6 (aka Tommy Heavenly6, who sang 'Monochrome Rainbow' from Bakuman or Tomoko Kawase of Brilliant Green, who sang 'Ash like Snow' from Gundam 00) on June 12th 2013. Most people will probably remember her from the song 'Lonely in Gorgeous,' the opening song of Paradise Kiss or came across one her different alter-egos. But this is her first album under her Tommy February6 alias in almost a decade and she is just as eccentric as ever! Her new album is entitled, "TOMMY CANDY SHOP ♥ SUGAR ♥ ME". The album will come in two editions, the regular edition and the limited edition. What makes the limited edition special is the dance versions and bonus goodies that go with it.

To keep fans on their toes, she also released the teasers of two songs in the album: SUGAR ♥ ME and Runaway.

A few seconds with the SUGAR ♥ ME PV is enough to give you diabetes. It is deliciously entertaining and sweet enough to just want to sink your teeth into it. For fans, two things might happen. One is to crave for food because it is everywhere in the video and two is to crave for more of the song and pray for the 12th of June to come faster.

This album seems to be all about food because the Runaway PV can appeal to your taste buds again with the appearance of strawberries, strawberry sundaes and strawberry parfaits. The PV takes takes place in different locations that would probably not make sense. One is in a fictional shop called of course, TOMMY CANDY ♥ SHOP with butlers catering to her every whim, the second is in what appears to be a church and another set in bedroom surrounded by several candles. It is an unusual video for anyone else, but typical for Tommy February6.
