I think no word are necessary to describe how much I love Kira Imai's art. They are adorable and I can't help but be reminded of CLAMP. I wouldn't be surprised if she is a fan of the group. A friend of mine, Sai (dusksapientia) manages a tumbler and I found Kira Imai there while browsing. I was supposed to help with the tumblr, but I am not very good at looking for art these days. A million things in school and online is keeping my hands full.

Kira Imai's Lolita art reminds me a little of CLAMP's art for CHOBITS. It is still easy to identify it as hers though. I have to say that her work is just gorgeous and clearly professional. I would love to have these pictures hanging on my wall. Unfortunately, I don't have paypal and I am not sure if I can afford her prices.

She has also become one of the people I want to meet in the future. I just want to watch her work and see how she makes these adorable designs. From the looks of the website, Kira Imai is Japanese. When I first saw her art, I thought she was from Korea since at first glance her art looked similar to a friend of a friend of mine's who is Korean.

But after browsing Angelic Pretty, I realized that Kira Imai's lines are different. Cleaner and for some strange reason her lines and curves look almost pretty. I can't wait for her to release more artworks. Hopefully, my brain will still be able to function by then to appreciate.
